Attending a workshop at the White House about the investment in northern Syria and introducing the IIS

A delegation from the Syrian Forum (SF) recently visited Washington DC and New York where they represented SF in a closed workshop at the White House and met with several missions to the United Nations.

Representatives M Yaser Tabbara and Sinan Hatahet joined key figures from the National Security Council, Department of State, USAID, and the Treasury Department to exchange information and lay the groundwork for a better investment climate in northern Syria, home to 7 million people. The "Invest in Syria" initiative was presented, and USAID shared their efforts on establishing a financial framework, alongside insights on micro-lending activities.
